Things to remember

  • The Dogathon will start at 7 AM. Please reach the venue by 6:30-45 AM latest.
  • If you are coming with you pet, please do carry their essentials with you- like a harness/collar and a leash.
  • We will provide water & refreshments at the venue, along with treats and poop bags for your pet.
  • Please ensure that you carry rain gear in case it starts to drizzle.
  • A vet and an ambulance will be on the standby.
  • Don’t forget to bring your pet’s latest vaccination certificate, and present it at the registration desk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to buy 2 tickets if I'm getting both my dogs?
One ticket covers you and two your dogs. Each human needs to purchase a separate ticket.
How long will the walk be?
The walk will be 1.5-2.5 kms long at most. We will ensure that you and your dogs are hydrated well.
Do I need to carry anything with me on the day of the event?
Just wear comfortable shoes, and ensure your dog is on a leash at all times. We will provide water and refreshments.
Do I need to have a pet to participate?
No, HUFT Dogathon is open to all. You can join us even without a pet.
What time does the walk start?
You are advised to reach the venue at/by 6:30 AM. The walk will start at 7 AM.
Should we carry water bowls or treats for our pets?
We will have water bowls at regular intervals and lots of treats to keep your pets engaged.
How is my money helping rescued animals?
All proceeds of the tickets will go to HUFT Foundation’s initiatives for animal welfare. Everyday for the last 5 years, Heads Up For Tails Foundation has been making continuous efforts, in collaboration with NGOs and individual caregivers, to bridge the gap between urban animals and humans for peaceful coexistence. Our initiatives include Reflective Collar Drive, Beds & Jackets Initiative, Feed a dog in need, Water Bowl initiative and more.
